Common pulmonary conditions include but are not limited to Congestive Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Pneumonia, and Pulmonary edema. Pulmonary conditions often cause lowered immune system making the patient susceptible to infections. Decreased oxygen flow and reduced lung capacity often causes shortness of breath with minimal exertion. To help our patients the Registered nurse will work with the physician and focus on instructing and educating on oxygen use, exercises to increase lung volume, proper medication management to prevent exacerbation of a disease.
