We offer amazing classes for your Pet. Our Trainers are high quality professionals ready to take care and engage with your best friend.
Got a new pup or adult rescue dog? Start off right with our Manners Classes. Our classes are all about teaching and reinforcing positive behavior to grow the relationship between you and your dog.
With Flextime, you choose the classes each week that fit your schedule, and you move through the program at your own pace. We offer both evening and daytime classes, so there is something convenient for everyone. You are not bound to any one day or time each week - you can simply show up to the classes you'd like to attend.
Our doggie daycare engages, teaches and exposes your pet to many
learning experiences. Older styles of daycare were to turn dogs our into a large
yard and let them hang out. In our structured daycare program at All Dog
Adventures dogs rotate between playing with staff, socializing in small
groups of 5 or fewer and break time. We customize programs to meet the
pup’s personality and age.
By offering a structured environment dogs are selected for each group
based on their play style and temperament. They get the socialization and
exercise they each need. The small groups keep your dog from getting
lumped into a large group where they could be injured or overwhelmed. We
want your dog to be willing and happy to come to daycare here. Our goal is
for your pet to go home tired and happy from play and mental
stimulation with our staff.
The dogs at All Dog Adventures are encouraged to keep the skills’ training
and practice the behaviors they have learned to shape them into wonderful
family members. Doggie daycare includes positive reinforement of positive
habits.

In 1996, All Dog Playskool opened in Richmond, VA in Huguenot Village in Richmond’s Southside as the first doggie daycare. Some of our first seminars were conducted by Gary Wilkes, Sue Sternberg, and Peter Wilkes from England to name a few.
In 1998, All Dog Playskool opened its second location on Thalbro Street in the Scott’s Addition / West End of Richmond. With the second location, All Dog Playskool added more group training classes with the first of many being the establishment of an unequivocal agility program. In addition, All Dog Playskool added boarding and self-serve dog wash.
With the expansion of All Dog Playskool’s training programs, the business relocated in 2009 to 4111 W. Clay Street, also in Scott’s Addition / West End, and expanded its name to All Dog Adventures to include the new philosophy of taking relationships to a higher level.
All Dog Adventures is the home of multiple Master Agility Champions (MACH’s), Agility Dog Champions (ADCH’s), and Trick Dog Champions (TDCH’s) as well as multiple titled dogs in Obedience and Rally Obedience in various venues, i.e. AKC, USDAA / WCRL, UKC, C-WAGS, etc. In addition, many of All Dog Adventures’ dogs have become Canine Good Citizens, Therapy Dogs, and actors in local commercials.
All Dog Adventures continues to grow by offering continued education seminars conducted by dog trainers considered to be at the top of their profession from all over the world and expanding class offerings to accommodate the evolution of dog sports and activities.

I would highly recommend All Dog Adventures. The instructors are talented, knowledgeable and respectful. I've found that this is absolutely the best dog training establishment in the area. In fact, I drive to Richmond from Fredericksburg regularly to attend classes and events. I've personally participated in Manners, Rally Obedience, and Agility classes with my Australian Shepherd named River for the past two years. The classes are challenging and very informative.

The instructors at All Dog were very attentive and patient with class participants. The lessons were always personalized to fit the needs of the individual dogs in the group. During each class there was a lot of ‘one on one’ time and I could ask any question about situations I was having a problem with. The class not only taught my dog manners, but built her confidence and allowed her to make good choices. She became a thinking dog instead of a robot! Dew and I completed all 3 levels of Manners Class and now compete in Agility. And yes, we still take class at All Dog Adventures.

Our doggie daycare engages, teaches and socializes your pet.
The old style of doggy day care was to turn dogs out into a large yard and let them hang out and have at it. In our structured doggie daycare program at All Dog Adventures, dogs rotate between playing with staff, socialization in small groups of 5 or fewer, and rest time. We customize programs to meet pup personalities and age.
By offering a structured environment where dogs play with fewer than 5 other dogs selected based on play styles and temperament, dogs get the socialization and exercise owners want. That way your dog doesn’t get lumped into a group where he or she is injured and bullied. We want your dog to be willing and happy to come to daycare. Our goal is for your pet to go home tired but happy from play and mental stimulation.
We also emphasize socializing your dog with one-on-one human contact. For example, your dog is hand fed at snack time and not simply fed by a bowl on the floor.
The result of that haphazard method is that dogs tended to lose the skills they learned in training, pick up and practice the behaviors owners worked so hard to cure them of. Our Doggie Daycare includes the reinforcement of positive habits. We encourage dogs with one-on-one training not to jump up on people or bark while at daycare.
All training packages for Flextime classes that are purchased for a 2 month, 3 month, or 6 month time period will expire from date of purchase or date of orientation.
The only extensions permitted will be for a dog experiencing medical issues at which time the student needs to contact the front desk. Otherwise, additional packages may be purchased to continue your education between the hours or 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday.
The Flextime training packages enable students to attend up to twice a week. If a student wishes to have the capability to attend more than twice a week, we offer “unlimited” packages.
Refunds will only be issued if it is determined by All Dog Adventures’ management that the student is not suitable for group classes. At which time, the refund will reflect the number of classes that have been attended. Furthermore, All Dog Adventures’ will recommend the services of Kathy Smith, our Senior Manners Instructor, who is a Certified Animal Behaviorist.
